Karla and Steve Mickley of Elk Creek Studios joined forces to create this series of fabulous small pieces.

Steve makes turnings from common and exotic wood species and Karla adds glass using traditional lead and solder techniques.   The results are truly gorgeous.

Their collaboration is continuing – more pieces are underway and this work can be found in our gallery and at other exhibitions.
