Riot of Color

An abstract design in bright primary colors adds tremendously to this entryway.

This wonderful dormer window was created by Karla and these clients using her cooperative design process.  After initial interviews with the couple, Karla presented a few designs for their consideration.  They quickly selected a design that Karla had developed to combine the stated tastes of both the husband and wife.   Karla then worked with them to select glass types and decorations, ordering several sample pieces.

The final design features ten different types and colors of glass and it is decorated with a few blown glass rondels, several faceted round jewels and a couple of square “pinchbacks”.

The window was built and installed in a painted maple frame designed to fit with the mouldings around the interior of the original window.   Renegade installed the framed piece on top of the original window so that it looks as if it was always part of the home.

The result is a brilliant addition to their home.
