Tres Patrones

We made 3 Patron Bottle Pendants for this beautiful farmhouse kitchen

These customers originally wanted to see if we could cut a hole in a Patron bottle.  We ended up doing research and development of better ways to build upcycled bottle lights.   The results included this beautiful installation in their kitchen, our popular single Patron Bottle pendants, and other interesting upcycled bottle lights.

We really love the amazing Patron bottle. The bottle’s glass is “seedy”, and over 3/8″ thick which helps it scatter light in a very pleasing way.  They really look great with  the new LED Edison bulbs we like to use.

All Renegade upcycled bottle lights are built for lasting beauty: Rather than cut off the entire bottom of the Patron bottle, we use a diamond drill to cut a 4″ diameter hole in the bottom. This preserves both the beauty and the strength of the bottle by leaving the bottom rim intact. We also use a proprietary annealing process on every bottle to prevent cracking and allow it to withstand the temperature extremes of any bulb type.
