Description
This is a nice sized tray made with the “pattern bar process” Karla cut the green and vanilla glass into strips and set them in stacks in the kiln. After “tack fusing” she sliced the stacks and then sliced them with the diamond saw, and laid the slices side by side. This makes a great serving tray, but that transparent glass also looks awesome in a window.
Form: Shallow rectangular tray
Technique: Pattern bars fused, cut and reassembled, fused, coldworked, slumped
Home Use: This tray is made of 1/4″ thick fusible glass. It is sturdy and won’t break with the bumps and bangs of normal use. It is food-safe, but please don’t put it on a hot stove or in a microwave. It can be put in the dishwasher, but we recommend hand washing.
Size: 15.5″ x 8″ x 2″
Weight: 3.8 lb.
